Our Advisors

Future Proof Homes Advisors may visit your home or drop off a leaflet to inform you about our services. Our advisors can often determine from the outside of your home if you may qualify for the ECO4 scheme based on the type of boiler flue you have. They can provide advice on the scheme and assist with any questions you may have.

What to expect during a visit from us

Our advisors will be clear, concise, and transparent, but it's important to verify their identity. Never allow anyone access to your home or personal information if you're unsure of who they are.

Our Field Sales agent will present their Future Proof Homes ID and introduce themselves, explaining the ECO4 scheme and determining whether you qualify.

If you're eligible and interested in applying for the scheme, the Field Advisor will complete some paperwork with you and request the necessary documents. These may include:

  • A utility bill in the applicant’s name

  • Proof of ID

  • Proof of ownership

  • Proof of eligibility (for medical or low-income routes)

  • A photograph of your boiler

  • A council tax bill

This information is kept securely and is only shared between Future Proof Homes and our accredited installers. If you decide not to proceed with your application or if the application is rejected, we do not retain any records of these documents. Please review our privacy policy for more details.

Once the paperwork is complete, the Field Advisor will leave.

Advisors wear uniforms with official branding. Look for the Future Proof Homes logo on their black jackets or white polo shirts.

Agents will also carry an ID card on a lanyard. The front of the card displays the agent's name, ID badge number, and photo. The card also includes our telephone number: 0151 440 2902. Call this number to verify the advisor's identity. Standard charges apply.

Your personal details

At no point will a Future Proof Homes Field Advisor ask for cash, bank, or card details. The application for the grant is completely free, and you will never need to provide any such information. Occasionally, if you are applying through the low-income route, you may be asked to provide a photograph of a bank statement as proof. However, we recommend censoring any sensitive information.

We will not use your details for marketing purposes. For more information, please refer to our FPH Privacy Policy.

Inviting the advisor into your house

It’s not necessary to invite the advisor into your home.

While we don’t need to enter your property, you’re welcome to invite the agent in if you prefer. To submit an application, they will need a photograph of your boiler. However, you're more than welcome to provide this yourself.

Changing your mind about your application after the visit

If you wish to cancel your application for any reason, please contact us, and we will assist you.
